Police investigating suspicious truck in Boston

BOSTON — A suspicious truck found yesterday in Boston is not connected to the Bridgewater junkyard where a fire broke out Monday – burning about 150 cars.

That truck held dozens of engine parts that were leaking fuel.

Because of that, part of Northern Avenue was shutdown for a time Tuesday.

Police are now cross-checking all of the serial numbers on those engine parts to see if they were stolen.

Sources close to the investigation originally told 7News the truck came from the Chuckran Auto Parts Company.

But those sources now say the truck came from a completely different company in Bridgewater.  From CW56

What I found interesting was when I was first alerted to this story, the following paragraph was there:

“The truck was last in the possession of two Saudi Arabian men who are now believed to be in New York City. The truck was to be shipped to Saudi Arabia”. That sentence no longer appears in the story.
