Bird Flu Reported In Thousands Of Chickens In Northwest Arkansas

(Little Rock, AR) — While cases of bird flu have been rare in the United States, thousands of chickens in northwest Arkansas have tested positive for exposure. According to ArkansasMatters.com, upwards of 15-thousand chickens were found to have a mild strain of bird flu that is not dangerous to humans and won’t enter the food supply. However, the website reports that Tyson saw an eight-percent drop in its stock value on Tuesday.  From KARN News Radio
