Police Find Half-Million In Marijuana During Traffic Stop

INDIANAPOLIS — A man was arrested on Indianapolis‘ east side Monday night following a traffic stop in which $500,000 worth of marijuana was found, police said.

Manuel Zuniga, 41, of Weslaco, Tex., was pulled over in a tractor-trailer for allegedly speeding just before 10 p.m. on Interstate 465 at Brookville Road.

Police said Zuniga told them he was hauling mangos, limes and papayas and acted nervously during the stop.  From the
