Stolen scrap metal moved in stolen truck – PA

State police at Belfast are looking for two men who used a stolen tractor-trailer to sell scrap metal to a Stockertown metal company on Thursday.

According to police, two men stole a tractor-trailer from Hosko’s Scrap Yard in Scranton. Then they went to Einfalt’s Scrap Yard on Bushkill Street, Stockertown, and unloaded a trailer of scrap metal around 8:30 a.m. Thursday

Police say the two men left the scrap yard and abandoned the tractor-trailer on the 200 block of Bushkill Street. It was a white International truck with a red and gray trailer.

The men were then picked up by a man and a woman in a blue four-door car, police said.

Police say both men were in their early to mid-20s, one with blond hair, one with brown hair. They told an employee at the scrap yard they were going back to Binghamton, N.Y. Anyone with information can call police at 610-759-6106. From The Morning Call
