  1. While Matt Damon’s argument against Sarah Palin are lame, there are a few truths that exist which concern me.
    1. Her education – it is questionable
    2. Integrity – which is under investigation ATM
    3. Censorship – she is strong believer in censoring books
    4. Her affiliation with the Independent Party – she switched to the Republican Party not long ago

I do not deny that she is competent, my concern is that she changes her position too often, depending on what is good for her career. That is the feeling I’m left with.

Your points are well taken, and the security of this country is most important. I doubt Mr. Damon even thought of that at the time. But I live in the Washington D.C. area and we are often overexposed to candidates. The choice of Ms. Palin was a good political move on Mr. McCain’s part. But her beliefs and his political network leave me cold.

But despite that and a cleverly edited video, you defended your point extremely well. I just don’t happen to agree.

  2. Emma,

Some things are wrong about you post.

#1. It has been proven that Sarah was never for censorship, that was a liberal lie.

#2. She was never affiliated with the Independent Party, that was also a lie, she registered Republican in 1982, this have been proven.

#3. Not having a Harvard, Yale or other ivy league education is not a prerequisite for the VP. This is an elitist attitude. There are several presidents who did not have ivy league educations, some good some bad.

#4. What integrity under investigation. There is an investigation as to the firing of a wife beater and child abuser and that man’s boss, who was appointed by Palin. She has the legal right to fire someone she appointed. This person was not in an elected position.

  3. I didn’t know she visited her troops in 2007.. Even better in my view. As the BAD headlines fade, I think it is all too often, those who fight in our stead become a little forgotten.

I was and still am extremely proud to have this truly patriotic and capable woman on the ticket. Go TEAM McCain-Palin!!
