Two comments:
1) The Send Amendment is a U.S. Constitutional Amendment. To change it requires a 2/3 majority of the States to change it. Not bloody likely.
2) Setting up restrictions on ammunition purchases. By registering ammo purchases, law enforcement can determine much more easily who bought ammo in the case of shooting death. It doesn’t restrict law-abiding hunters. So, what is wrong with helping law-enforement find and prosecute murderers?
3) My own question, not Obama’s: why would anyone want to own automatic weapons? They are meant only for people killing, not hunting. Owning them doesn’t make sense…and I was raised by a father who owned both a shotgun and rifle for hunting.

freedom, so go ahead give an inch to the almighty GOV’T
