Spam sales way up as household budgets tighten
Hormel Foods Corporation hard pressed to keep up with demand
AUSTIN, Minn. — The economy is in tatters and, for millions of people, the future is uncertain. But for some employees at the Hormel Foods Corporation plant here, times have never been better. They are working at a furious pace and piling up all the overtime they want.

I admit it – I like Spam… Spam with Velveeta on white bread… Share your Spam recipes and experiences. By the way, Wal Mart’s “Great Value” brand spam-like luncheon meat isn’t too bad, either.
