Baylor Trucking Honors Veterans by Delivering a Gesture of Remembrance and Respect

MILAN, IN, Dec 09, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) — Baylor Trucking, Inc. is participating in a nationwide effort to say thank you for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice with military service. Baylor Trucking is delivering 3,000 live evergreen wreaths adorned with red bows to eight veterans cemeteries in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. The effort is part of Wreaths Across America. The mission of the program is to “Remember the fallen, honor those who serve and teach our children the value of freedom.”

Baylor professional driver, Greg Tucker retrieved the wreaths from Maine, and is assisting with the memorial ceremonies. “This is an experience I will never forget,” says Tucker. “I am driving for people who loved to protect our country; I hope our nation focuses on the soldiers. This gesture is more than words can express.” As a Desert Storm veteran, Tucker was humbled to meet one of the few surviving Pearl Harbor veterans.   More from Market Watch

Hats off to Baylor Trucking.  It is stories like this that reflect the heart and soul of the American trucker -and I am proud to post them.
