  1. We are very proud of every trucker that takes a stand for our country. My husbancd is an independent trucker and a vietnam vet. His loyalty to this country never faulters, and is in total support of our troops and the civilians serving our country in Iraq.
We are hopeful, this great country, will stand behind the American Trucker. As we are planning a truck shutdown on April 1 for our company, we pray, other truckers will take a stand with us, and do it with respect and strength and honor for our industry!!

  2. i’m very glad you made it back safely. it’s a shame our government has to put civilians out in harms way with no real protection other than armed escorts. . and sometimes not even that. i salute you.

  3. Mr. Taylor,

My name is Jason Davis, and I am running for Congressional Seat, District 24 in Florida. I completely understand the plight of the American trucker, as I was one at one time. I have a brother who is currently an OTR driver. I know that when gas prices go up, especially diesel, delivery costs go up and the end user pays for it, thus causing inflation in our economy. Our government has done very little to alleviate the excessive regulations and rules that truck drivers have to adhere to. The proposed 5-minute idle is again another ridiculous rule being shoved down the truck drivers throat. This is a case in point that the legislators do not have a clue of the truckers lifestyle and they have been in their “ivory towers” too long and have lost touch with part of Americana. Maybe with your constituents help, we can get back to running America again for the real Americans. Please visit my website at your convenience.

Great article! When is our government going to wake up? Who didn’t see this coming? Obviously not Ms. Peters and President Bush!

  10. Great site. As a former police officer, former truck driver, and currently a 25 year veteran firefighter, I can gladly say it is great to see someone with the same background have the same principles and core values and is not ashamed of this country.

This website and your views are traitorous to the American worker and a throwaway to the values that made this country great. You should be ashamed.
